Let’s hope Kennedy Meeks is okay!

This isn’t really a takeaway, but it is something that happened this past weekend that UNC fans have to react to. Kennedy Meeks injured his knee against Arkansas late in the game on Saturday and could be out for the Sweet 16 game against either Wisconsin or Oregon.

More from North Carolina Tar Heels

This is not good. First of all, all of Tar Heel nation hopes Kennedy is not seriously hurt and that it is just a little sprain that can be taken care of easily.

I don’t want to speculate too much, but both the short-term and long-term effects of Kennedy’s injury would be pretty devastating to the Heels if he ends up having to miss a lot of time.

Instead of worrying about that, though, let’s just hope the big man is okay!
