The New England Patriots found themselves trailing the Tennessee Titans by a score of 17-10 late in the fourth quarter on Sunday afternoon.

Although they were down, they weren't out of it, as Drake Maye pulled off another miraculous play to force overtime.

In case you missed it, here's the play:

Somehow, someway, Maye bought enough time scrambling in the backfield. Ultimately, just as he got hit, Maye threw up a pass to the endzone (one that looked for sure to be heading toward an incompletion).

However, Rhamondre Stevenson was there to make the catch for the score.

While the original television broadcast angle is good, this angle of the play shows just how difficult of a play it actually was for the former UNC football star.

Sure, the Patriots went on to lose in overtime (and Maye threw an interception to end it), but you have to give him credit for even getting his team to that point. Let's remember: Maye was limited in practice all week as he went through concussion protocol, so to be able to make plays as he did (in his third career start) is impressive in its own right.

No UNC football fan is surprised by this play from Drake Maye. We've all seen him make insane plays during his time as a Tar Heel. What is evident is this: the New England Patriots seem to be in very good hands with Maye as their franchise quarterback.
