We officially hit the month of March, which means that March Madness is set to be in full effect!
As we prepare for the second-to-last Saturday of the men's college basketball regular season, the UNC basketball program still is considered a "bubble team" for the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
While winning as many games down the stretch (including in the upcoming ACC Tournament), the Tar Heels could certainly benefit from a little help along the way.
Courtesy of Bart Torvik and Go Heels' own Adam Lucas, here's a breakdown of who UNC basketball fans should be rooting for this weekend.
Who to root for today for @UNC_Basketball (thanks to @BartTorvikHoops):

UNC over Miami (margin matters).
Air Force over New Mex.
Creighton over Xavier.
Gonzaga over San Fran.
Fresno St over Boise St.
SCar over Arkansas.
Ole Miss over Oklahoma.
Nebraska over Minnesota.
Of course, the main objective for the Tar Heels is to defeat Miami (ideally by a larger margin). If North Carolina can't win this game, their NCAA Tournament hopes are likely ruined, given what a tough season its been for the Hurricanes.
You have to beat the teams you're expected to beat, which the Tar Heels have done quite well over the last few weeks.
While North Carolina has to handle its own business, there are other matchups to watch. An Air Force victory over New Mexico, a Gonzaga defeat of San Francisco, Fresno State pulling off a win over Boise State, and Ole Miss defeating Oklahoma would help the Tar Heels out big time.
Yes... as painful as it is to type, Creighton winning on Saturday afternoon would be a good thing for North Carolina.
Let's not forget Minnesota, as there are plenty of Tar Heels fans who want to see the Gophers lose because of a certain player who transferred out of North Carolina essentially halfway through his lone season with the program.
As you set up your Saturday schedule, make sure you find some time to check out some of the games listed above. Heck, why not spend some time watching them all- you deserve a break after a hard worked week!
