The National Football League announced the list of players who have been invited to participate in the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine.

A total of 329 prospects have been invited to attend this year's event, which will take place in Indianapolis from February 24 through March 3. Of those 329 players, six come from the UNC football program.

Who are they? Well, we're here to tell you!

To no surprise, Omarion Hampton was among this year's invitees. Hampton is regarded as one of the top running backs in the draft class, as some mock drafts view him as a potential late first-round selection.

The only other Tar Heel from the offensive side of the ball to receive an invite is tight end Bryson Nesbit. A tight end who features a wide receiver-type skillset, Nesbit should be an intriguing prospect for teams looking for an above-average pass catcher at the position.

On the defensive side of the ball, the following players earned invites to the Scouting Combine:

DL Jahvaree Ritzie
DL Kaimon Rucker
LB Power Echols
CB Alijah Huzzie

Ritzie and Rucker were veteran forces on the UNC football program's defensive line, while Power Echols played a major role in anchoring the team's linebacker unit. Alijah Huzzie was a valuable asset at the cornerback position but also was a special teams ace, a role that he could definitely help fill at the NFL level.

One major surprise was the absence of offensive lineman Willie Lampkin from the list. After a stellar final collegiate season in which he earned various All-American honors, Lampkin is easily one of the biggest snubs of players who weren't invited to participate in the event.

The UNC football program will be well-represented by some of the players who have made major impacts in Chapel Hill over the last few seasons. All six of the Tar Heels representatives will look to make a lasting impression on NFL executives leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft.
