Former UNC basketball star Cameron Johnson is on the move this offseason, as he was recently traded by the Brooklyn Nets to the Denver Nuggets.
After being acquired by the Phoenix Suns as part of the Kevin Durant trade, Johnson spent the last two and a half seasons in Brooklyn, making a major impact on and off the court. While his time with the Nets wasn't very long, Johnson earned a reputation as a fierce competitor on the court while also becoming a strong presence in the community off it.
The Nets are going through a rebuilding mode, part of the reason why they elected to trade Johnson. Given his value, they were able to get pieces back that they feel will help them in the long run, while Johnson is set up nicely to contribute for a Nuggets team that is loaded for a potential deep playoff run this season.
Following the trade, the Nets took to social media to thank Johnson for everything, sharing a touching tribute video that captures parts of his finest moments during his time in Brooklyn

It's safe to say that Johnson left a lasting impact during his time as a Brooklyn Net, as he'll look to do the same in his next chapter of his NBA career.
