The UNC women's basketball program is officially on the board for the 2026 recruiting class!

Noelle Bofia, a 6-foot-5 forward from Phoenix, Arizona, announced on Instagram that she has committed to Courtney Banghart and the Tar Heels.

Bofia is a four-star recruit and a top-50 ranked prospect in the Class of 2026. She also is regarded as the top-ranked player coming from the state of Arizona.

Suffice to say: Noelle Bofia is an absolute baller!

You can see some of her highlights from the EYBL Session 1 below, a highlight reel that shows a glimpse of what she's capable of on both ends of the floor.

While it's easy to get caught up in the rankings, it's important to remember that there are flaws to the recruiting ranking systems. There are some great talents who go on to put together incredible college careers who weren't ranked within the top 100 in their respective graduating class.

Tar Heel fans got to enjoy one of those players for each of the past five seasons (Alyssa Ustby).

Bofia seems to be one of those underrated talents who could rise up the recruiting rankings before she heads to Chapel Hill.

Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program have been heavily active on the recruiting trail for this class. They have now officially secured a commitment, as the hope is that more are going to follow over the next few months.

You can never have enough size on the basketball court, something Banghart and her staff have done a tremendous job recruiting to Chapel Hill. You can add Bofia to that list of talents who decided to call North Carolina home, another player who fits the persona of being a high-quality player with a ton of untapped potential that the Tar Heels hope to unlock once she arrives on campus next summer.
