Before we ring in 2026, there's one more basketball game on the slate for Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program.

The Tar Heels will now fully transition to ACC play, making the trip to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts for a contest against the Boston College Eagles on Monday night.

Both teams already have a conference game under their belt, but aim to secure their first win in ACC action this season. North Carolina lost a heartbreaker to Louisville a few weeks back, while Boston College struggled mightily against Virginia.

One of these teams will head into the new year with an ACC win on their resume, and the hope is that the UNC women's basketball program returns home victorious.

Keys to Victory for North Carolina

Force Boston College into mistakes

The Eagles average just under 15 turnovers per game. North Carolina loves to cause havoc on the defensive end, ultimately leading to opportunities in transition.

For North Carolina, it's simple: continue to be aggressive on the defensive end and make life difficult for Boston College as they look for opportunities to score the basketball.

This is another game that Indya Nivar could put together a multi-steal effort, as we've seen her have quite a few of those thus far this season. If the Tar Heels can be active on the defensive end, they should have no problem taking care of business in Chestnut Hill.
