North Carolina has played basketball as of late, winning seven of their last eight games. Their lone loss came to the Fighting Irish, a game in which the Tar Heels hung tight after one of the best overall teams in the country.
Holding a 17-3 record, the UNC women's basketball program has two home games on the slate this week. On Thursday, the Tar Heels will host Wake Forest and will play Florida State in a Sunday afternoon clash at Carmichael Arena. These two games will lead the Tar Heels into a three-game road trip, including consecutive games on the west coast.
