Make it six victories in a row for Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program as they coasted to a double-digit victory over Coppin State on Sunday afternoon in Chapel Hill.

441. Final. 46. 2421. UNC. 72

The recent trends for the Tar Heels remained true on Sunday: stellar defense and offensive attack that featured essentially everyone on the roster.

North Carolina was red-hot from beyond the arc in the first half, connecting on 9 of their first 13 attempts. To make it even better, multiple players made triples, helping guide the Tar Heels to a 19-point lead at the break.

When you're able to shoot 57% from the floor through the first half, typically good things follow!

While North Carolina cooled off a bit in the second half, they still made it nearly impossible from Coppin State to build any momentum. The Eagles are now the fourth opponent the Tar Heels have held under 50 points over the last five games, showing just how good North Carolina's defensive approach has been.

In total, 12 Tar Heels scored at least one basket while none had more than 10 points. Maria Gakdeng was the only UNC women's basketball player in double-figures, while everyone else essentially added buckets in timely spots.

Honestly, there were some great baskets made by the Tar Heels, but this one from Sydney Barker was the best one of the game!

Now sitting at 9-1 on the season, the UNC women's basketball program will host UNC Greensboro on Wednesday before hosting Georgia Tech to begin ACC play a week from today.
