One of the biggest perks that comes with playing for the UNC basketball program has to be the instant access to limited-edition Jordan brand sneakers.

On social media, the UNC basketball program shared videos of the current players being gifted with a brand-new pair of Jordans, one that were made exclusively for the players and won't be available to the public.

Any day that you are gifted sneakers, especially ones from Michael Jordan's own company, is a great day in our eyes!

Check out the players reactions!

To no surprise, captain Seth Trimble was the one to unbox the first pair, as you can tell by the reaction of the team that they definitely are liking this custom look.

In the video above, James Brown and Isaiah Denis are both rather hyped about the addition to their respective sneaker collections, as these are ones that just might ever be worn given how rare they are.

A closer look at the PE's

Of course, the sneakers are primarily Carolina blue and feature not only the iconic Air Jordan logo but also the school's Tar Heel foot logo. The bottom-half of the sneaker is a mix of Carolina blue and black, and if you look closer, some of Jordan's iconic stats from his Hall of Fame career are imprinted in every other section.

Pretty awesome touch!

Now, players can elect to wear them in games if they want to rep the new gear, but most of us would likely put these sneakers in a safe container for viewing purposes only. These kicks represent Jordan's beginnings at North Carolina and tie into his iconic basketball career along the way.

Most UNC basketball fans would agree that they would love for these to be sold to the public, as many within Tar Heel faithful would love to have these as a collector's item (or even to wear out in public to impress their friends!).
