There's more than just bragging rights on the line when North Carolina and Clemson go to battle on Tuesday night. Thanks to Duke (despite us hating to say that) taking down North Carolina State on Monday, UNC is indeed one step away from capturing at minimum a No. 4 seed in the ACC Tournament.

UNC and Hubert Davis must make this Caleb Wilson call for the Duke game

With that, the Tar Heels would take home a double-bye for next week's big event, meaning they wouldn't take the floor until the conference tournament quarterfinals. Think this is going to serve as extra motivation for Hubert Davis and his men to post a needed win? You better believe it:

UNC basketball can clinch a double-bye in the ACC Tournament with a win over Clemson

While there are other scenarios in play still here, the Tar Heels are not going to want to rely on others to get the job done for them. Because of that, it only adds to the importance of Seth Trimble, Henri Veesaar and the other playmakers to step up and take down the Tigers.

With it being Senior Night as well, Trimble is going to want to go out with a bang in front of the Chapel Hill fans. Clemson of course is not going to roll over and let that happen, as the Tigers themselves are still pushing for a better seed for the ACC Tourney.

Leading up to tip-off, the Tar Heels are favored by 3.5 points, which hints that the Vegas oddsmakers think this is going be a see-saw battle between the two sides. It has already been confirmed that Caleb Wilson will not be in action, as he's still working his way back from a fracture in his left hand.

With Wilson being out since the Miami game, North Carolina has managed to win four of its last five games, which has been great to see. Against Clemson, things won't be easy, but Davis is hoping his group can still operate at a high level. And if UNC does play to its abilities, then a double-bye will be coming next week. Let's see if the Heels can get this done.
