We're getting an early sense of how Michael Malone and his staff will recruit, and it's safe to say that they are not going to back down by any means.
It's been widely speculated that Wake Forest transfer Juke Harris is destined for Ann Arbor, as he took a visit to Michigan on Saturday for the program's national championship parade. While Harris did make the trip, North Carolina isn't ruling him out as a potential option, as Malone is set to make his pitch to him on Sunday.

Late on Saturday night, Inside Carolina reported that the new head coach of the Tar Heels is scheduled to make the road trip to Salisbury, North Carolina on Sunday for an in-home visit with Harris and his family. This visit comes shortly after Harris returned to his home state following his visit to the national champion Wolverines.
Since he entered the transfer portal, Harris has been deemed a "dream target" for UNC, given his emergence at Wake Forest along with his in-state ties. A bigger guard who can also play the wing, Harris would be a tremendous fit for what Malone is trying to accomplish in Chapel Hill. While putting the ball in the basket has developed into his strong suit, a guard who rebounds at the level he does is also a very valuable skill set to have, as Malone mentioned in his press conference that the goal will be for the Tar Heels to be much better on the glass and on the defensive side of the ball moving forward.
If you're North Carolina, you have to be encouraged that Harris, who was seen wearing Michigan gear at the parade, left town without agreeing to become a Wolverine. While that doesn't mean he still won't commit to Dusty May, the door is still open for Malone and the Tar Heels to sway his decision, and that process will begin on Sunday when they make a stop in his home town.
As we know is the case in the world of the transfer portal, anything can happen!
