The first day of the 2025 Early Signing Period will surely be a memorable one for Bill Belichick and the UNC football program.

Not only did Belichick's first recruiting class feature over 35 commitments from the Class of 2026, the program also received some very good news on the flipped commitment market.

A trio of highly coveted recruits elected to redirect their future college careers to Chapel Hill. While these decisions were rumored to be happening, they became a reality on Wednesday, as North Carolina poached recruits from Texas, Purdue, and Florida State.

Da'Ron Parks answers the call

Florida State lost a notable recruit on Wednesday, as offensive lineman Da'Ron Parks flipped his commitment to North Carolina.

With the UNC football program set to lose eight key contributors along the offensive line unit, Parks is a guy who could make an impact right away. With a 6-foot-5, 310-pound frame, Parks is regarded as a four-star talent who was heavily recruited during his initial recruitment.

North Carolina snuck into the mix, even though he had been pledged to the Seminoles back in July. About a week and a half ago, Parks backed out of that commitment, as all signs pointed to him ending up in Chapel Hill.

A big day for the UNC football program

When you sign 40+ high school recruits, you have to be pleased with the work you've done.

Not even just adding bodies: putting together one of the top recruiting classes in the country.

The three flipped commitments are huge for the Tar Heels, as all three players were guys that the UNC football program wanted desperately. Now, they got their guys and can look forward to the future of the program, one that's starting to look very bright.
