Pat McAfee has been loving watching the West Virginia baseball team make its way to this point in the College World Series.
The former Mountaineer punter/kicker is rooting hard for the school he attended and has been very vocal with all the success the team has had up to this point. In fact, he not only attended the Super Regionals, but also made his way to Omaha for West Virginia's College World Series debut.
Well, as much fun as McAfee has had, the UNC baseball program spoiled that quite a bit on Sunday night.
McAfee was posting on social media throughout the game, as he was nothing but kind toward UNC and some of their key players. If you didn't see the social media posts, just check out the clip below of him raving about how good the Diamond Heels are on his show, as his description of the Tar Heels, most notably Walker McDuffie and Caden Glauber, will certainly make you laugh!
Pat McAfee provides an epic description of UNC baseball
"I fear they are very good at baseball."
North Carolina is VERY GOOD at baseball

McAfee was impressed with the way McDuffie is able to spin the baseball, joking how his glasses have AI capabilities that help him dominate opposing hitters.
He then talks about how UNC went back to the pen to call upon Glauber, the true freshman. McAfee at first seemed to think he wasn't going to be ready for this big stage but boy was he wrong, as Glauber showed him and the rest of West Virginia's fan base just how dominant he can be.
In typical McAfee fashion, he did allude to making a wager with a UNC alum and admitted he will be making a donation to that person's charity of choice. As someone who enjoys sports as much as McAfee does, it's nice to see him using his platform to help others as well.
Walker McDuffie's clutch relief outing helped push UNC closer to the finals
Honestly, McAfee's description of Sunday night's game is absolutely hilarious. While complimenting the Tar Heels, McAfee found a way to make the Diamond Heels seem invincible, especially the two young right-handers that dominated on the mound through the second half of the game.
While McAfee hopes West Virginia can defeat Troy on Tuesday, he definitely won't be thrilled to see his beloved school have to match up with the Tar Heels once again.
