The UNC football program added a massive presence to its offensive line unit, landing a commitment from UAB offensive tackle transfer Jordan Hall.

Listed at 6-foot-8, 310 pounds, Hall will make his way to Chapel Hill with three seasons of eligibility remaining.
A former three-star recruit from Columbus, Ohio, Hall redshirted during what was supposed to be his true freshman season in 2023. Last season (as a redshirt freshman), Hall appeared in all 12 games for UAB, making one start. He finished the year with 213 snaps played.
On the first day of the spring transfer portal window, Hall entered his name into the mix, and North Carolina wasted no time recruiting him. Hall made the decision to join the UNC football program official early on Thursday, becoming the eighth player to commit to North Carolina thus far in the spring transfer portal window cycle.
You certainly can't teach size, something that Hall has to his advantage. Although he didn't start many games during his one season of play at UAB, Hall is a guy who could factor in along the UNC football program's line as he continues to develop, with the mindset of him becoming a potential full-time starter down the road.
Without a doubt, you can't have enough big bodies in the trenches, as the UNC football program has been actively searching to add depth to the offensive line via the transfer portal.
