While the focus has been on the transfer portal, it hasn't stopped Bill Belichick and the UNC football program from working on filling out their staff, both coaching and within the front office.
According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, the Tar Heels are expected to add another member to its personnel department, one who has previous working experience with Belichick.
North Carolina is expected to hire former New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars scout Joe Anile as a member of its personnel department, sources tell @CBSSports/@247Sports.

That individual is Joe Anile.
Never heard of him? Here's the scoop:
Anile spent five seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a pro scout. From there, Anile transitioned to work with the New England Patriots in the same role, working closely with Belichick during the final two seasons of his tenure with the franchise.
One common thing that you'll see throughout this process is familiarity with Bill Belichick. As the UNC football program looks to fill out it's entire staff (both on and off field), don't be surprised if the staff is full of individuals who have either worked with Belichick in the past or have some sort of connection to him.
Given his NFL track record, Belichick has rubbed elbows with some of the best in the business, as the people he tabs to bring with him to Chapel Hill are ones that he feels will help take the program to where he aspires it to be moving forward.
It seems that Joe Anile is one of those people.
