Bill Belichick and the UNC football program have won another recruiting battle.

The latest addition to the Tar Heels 2026 recruiting class is Anthony Hall, a three-star offensive lineman. The 6-foot-4, 340-pound lineman currently ranks as the top available prospect from the state of Massachusetts.

While it appeared to between a two-team race between North Carolina and Rutgers, the Tar Heels ended up securing the commitment. Hall actually informed the Tar Heels of his decision a few days ago (according to 247 Sports), as he had this to say about North Carolina as a whole.

"They were always my top (school) and academics were always a main factor. They are one of the top schools in the country that has the best academics and with that coaching staff they have right now I believe they have a chance of doing great things."

Hall becomes the seventh member of the UNC football program's 2026 recruiting class, and the second interior offensive lineman that the program has secured a commitment from.

Since arriving in Chapel Hill, Bill Belichick and the UNC football program have made a strong effort in adding depth on the offensive and defensive lines. While transfers have taken the priority in building next year's roster, Belichick and his staff are identifying recruiting targets who could help the team's offensive line in the near future.

Hall certainly fits in that category, as his size and skillset make him an intriguing addition for the UNC football program's 2026 recruiting class.
