UNC Basketball projected starting lineup for the 2024-2025 season (Post Preseason)
As we're now very close to opening tip-off, here's how the UNC basketball program's starting unit projects.

While I totally expect this spot to be more of a platoon situation, I do believe that Jalen Washington is the guy who will start at center for the UNC basketball program.
Washington has looked good throughout the preseason and seems ready to take on a bigger role. While he hasn't been tasked with playing heavy minutes during his early UNC basketball career, I believe that Washington and Ven-Allen Lubin will form a formidable duo that the Tar Heels can rely on.
Given his ability to stretch the floor offensively and protect the rim defensively, Washington should be a integral factor for this year's starting unit.
