UNC basketball fans want as much Caleb Wilson content as possible, and the Carolina basketball social media accounts are delivering in spades. Wilson, a 6-foot-10 prospect from Georgia, is one of the top incoming freshman prospects in the nation and is projected as a lottery pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Wllson is the centerpiece of a 2025 recruiting class that also includes Isaiah Denis, a 6-5 wing player from Davidson Day School in Davidson, N.C. and Derek Dixon, a 6-3 guard that played at Gonzaga High School in Washington, D.C.

So naturally with that sort of build up, Tar Heel nation is eating up every single highlight clip they can find on Wilson's first couple of days of summer practice. This clip is a good indication of Wilson's amazing upside, as the big man takes the ball at the elbow and works his way down low to hit about a 12-14 foot turnaround jumper.

There's no doubt that new clips alone have NBA scouts completely mesmerized as to what kind of talent Wilson could be in 3-4 years when he fills out his frame and develops his offensive game and outside shooting to go with his defensive abilities and rim protection.

Wilson will be the key addition to what should be one of the most promising front courts in the nation next season. UNC added 7-footer Henri Veesaar (Arizona) and 6-foot-11 Jarin Stevenson (Alabama) in the transfer portal to provide much-needed size around the rim.

Five-Star guard will make official visit to UNC in August

Elsewhere for the program, Deron Rippey Jr., one of the top point guards in the nation, will be making his official visit to Chapel Hill on Aug. 31. Davis extended an offer to Rippey, a 6-foot-2 guard from New Jersey, in late December. On the composite rankings, Rippey is a top-20 prospect (No. 17) and the second-best point guard in the nation.

Rippey's other official visits will be to Alabama on Sept. 12 and Texas on Sept. 19.
