Ladies and Gentlemen: are you ready for Seth Trimble's return to the court?!
All signs point to Trimble returning to the lineup on Saturday afternoon when the UNC basketball program takes on Ohio State in the CBS Sports Classic. The senior guard has not played since November 7 after suffering an injury to his left forearm from a weight room accident.

Trimble is the veteran leader and top perimeter defender…
A huge boost for the Tar Heels
Trimble is a HUGE piece to the puzzle for the UNC basketball program, both in terms of leadership and skill. Arguably the best on-ball defender in the country, Trimble not only makes a significant impact on the defensive side of the ball but has grown into a steady offensive contributor, as he averaged 14.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the two games he played this season before injury.
While the Tar Heels have been taking care of business on the court, they have definitely missed their senior leader. The UNC basketball program is much better when Trimble is on the court, and now will look to help guide North Carolina through the remainder of non-conference play leading up to full-blown ACC action begins just before the new year.
How it impacts the rotation
It's highly likely that Trimble will return to the starting lineup, but could be utilized off the bench to help ease him into game action. Hubert Davis will have options to work with, and will have to decide what starting unit works best for his team, but it's a great problem to have knowing that the guy who is the clear-cut leader of this squad is back in action.
While other guys will see their minutes impacted, the UNC basketball program will be better given that some guys were able to earn more opportunities in Trimble's absence. It never hurts to have too much depth, something that the Tar Heels were able to build upon over the last few weeks.
