The group advocating for the Dean E. Smith Center to remain on campus is really bringing the full-court press!

First, Roy Williams recorded a short video discussing why he firmly believes the Smith Center shouldn't be moved. He's leading the charge to renovate, not relocate, the Smith Center, as he is arguably the best person to speak on the matter (given his connection to the late, great Dean Smith).

When Williams speaks, people follow. An icon in UNC basketball lore, it's no surprise that there are people rallying around the former head coach of the Tar Heels. The rallying behind Williams includes some of his former players, as the latest video release comes from the most decorated player to ever wear the Carolina Blue uniform.

The legendary Tyler Hansbrough added his two cents into the matter, as he also recorded a video demonstrating why the Dean Smith Center should stay where it is. Coming from a player who put together a historic career at North Carolina, Hansbrough knows the true meaning behind the venue, as he cites his personal experiences that also could be felt by essentially any Tar Heel who has run out of the tunnel onto the court at the Smith Center.

After Williams got everyone hyped up about the movement, Hansbrough came in to back his coach's efforts to honor Dean Smith's wishes.
