Jenica Lewis' recruitment is down to five programs, one of which resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The four-star shooting guard revealed her list of five finalists to Dushawn London, National Basketball Recruiting Analyst for 247Sports. Lewis, a Johnston, Iowa native is still considering the following programs:

Iowa
North Carolina
Notre Dame
Oregon
TCU

Ranked among the top-25 players in the Class of 2026, Lewis is viewed by some as a lock to stay close to home and play for Iowa. However, don't count Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program out, as they'll have the opportunity to convince her to become a Tar Heel when she arrives in Chapel Hill for an official visit on August 31.

Brandon Clay, the Director of Scouting, Women's Basketball for 247Sports, had this to say regarding Lewis;

"Lewis was a key piece for an All-Iowa Attack roster that was one of the country’s top programs on the club circuit. She played all of the perimeter positions while demonstrating an ability to make the open shot when the ball reverses. Lewis has a good combination of shot-making and skill at the guard spot. Her skill set lends itself to playing alongside a guard capable of creating and a bigger wing with the ability to space the floor."

The UNC women's basketball program has been extremely active on the recruiting trail, earning a ton of interest from some of the top available players from the Class of 2026. With this rising senior class' recruitments heating up, now's the time for Banghart and her staff to bring in some quality talent to add to what's already brewing in Chapel Hill.

Given the program's rise since Banghart took over at the helm, who wouldn't want to be a part of this journey, one that continues to put the UNC women's basketball program close to being considered one of the elite programs that women's college basketball has to offer.
