The thought of Caleb Wilson saying goodbye to North Carolina is something no fan is going to be ready for when it comes. Barring a shocker, Wilson will be off to the NBA next season, so the UNC faithful need to enjoy every minute of him in action while they can.

Caleb Wilson's 2-word message after UNC stunned Virginia was just awesome

That was of course the case over the weekend with the Tar Heels taking down Virginia on the road in what was a pretty thrilling upset win. Wilson was brilliant, scoring 20 points in 35 minutes of play. He turned heads throughout the day, but there's one play in particular we'd like to highlight that will surely have NBA scouts drooling:

Caleb Wilson has been nothing short of sensational for North Carolina

Just look at his footwork there, it's incredible! With less than five minutes to go in this one, and UNC down three points on the road against the (then) No. 14 team in the country, Wilson got the ball and he went to work.

This was superb for so many different reasons. Not only did Wilson have the Virginia defender guessing what he was going to do, but he also was calm enough to make sure the ball made its way inside of the bucket too. Everything there was just so smooth.

On the season, the 5-star freshman is averaging nearly 20 points per game and more than 10 rebounds per contest. Yeah, no one has had to worry at all about this kid failing to live up to the hype - he's done that and more this campaign.

After the Heels lost three of four games in ACC play, the mood was low surrounding the program. However, North Carolina's win over UVA has thankfully lifted the spirits and Wilson reminded everyone of the potential this group has. More of the same will hopefully be on the way against Georgia Tech this weekend, as Wilson and Co. will be ready to take care of business.
