Our "Tar Heel of the Game" for the UNC basketball program's victory over American is a guy who put together a career night, as he was certainly hyped as he helped lead his team to the win.
Jalen Washington
Jalen Washington is looking to prove that he's more than capable of handling the center position for the UNC basketball program.
Washington scored a career-high 18 points, connecting on all six of his shots from the floor along with six of his seven free-throw attempts.

Washington isn't likely going to be called upon to score 18-20 points a game. However, Washington has been a highly-efficient scorer dating back to last season when his number is called, so look for him to make the most of his opportunities when his guards provide him with open space to work with.
