The UNC football program is looking to win its fourth-straight contest as they hit the road for their final regular season road game this weekend against Boston College.
Omarion Hampton is chasing history while the UNC football program looks to solidify its case to earn a spot in a bowl game. How does our staff feel the Tar Heels will fare this weekend?

North Carolina having to go up against a backup quarterback frightens me... a lot.
However, I owe it to this group to stick with them. They proved us wrong when they struggled mightily by turning things around with a current three-game winning streak.
While it won't be your marquee game to watch this weekend, I'm rolling with the Heels to continue the win streak as they head into the regular season finale against that team from Raleigh.
Prediction: North Carolina 28, Boston College 17
Record: 7-3

The Tar Heels have been even better on the road this season than at home, posting a 3-1 record in away games while sitting at an even 3-3 record in Chapel Hill. The Eagles are one of many ACC teams, like North Carolina, that have struggled defensively throughout this season, and this one will come down to who has the better offense. I like North Carolina’s odds of extending their win streak to four, increasing their chances of getting an invitation to a bowl game that may actually be relevant.
Prediction: North Carolina 37, Boston College 27

North Carolina once again finds itself about to play against a team that has switched quarterbacks. Fortunately for the Tar Heels, Boston College's Grayson James has the better part of two games on film for Geoff Collins and his men to study. UNC's sack well went dry against Wake Forest, collecting just two sacks against the Deacs after piling up 17 in the previous two games. James hit a lot of underneath throws that let his receivers scoop up chunks of yards-after-catch, but he had plenty of time in the pocket to let those routes develop. If North Carolina can collapse the pocket and get the Eagles off schedule, this could be over by the fourth quarter. If they don't, this will be a nail-biter until the very end.
Prediction: North Carolina 31, Boston College 28

The Tar Heels are one of the hottest teams in the ACC, winning three in a row and bowl eligible for their sixth straight season.
This road trip to BC is a huge opportunity for the Tar Heels to keep their momentum rolling. The 5-5 Eagles sit right behind the 6-4 Tar Heels in the ACC standings. North Carolina football has their eyes set on making a respectable bowl game, and they’ll need to take care of business at BC if they hope to do just that.
However, the Tar Heels will have their hands full on Saturday. The Eagles have been a force on their home turf, with a 4-1 record. North Carolina opened as a 1.5-point favorite, and I like the Tar Heels winning in a close one. The Tar Heels make it four wins in a row before their finale versus NC State.
Prediction: North Carolina 27, Boston College 24

The Tar Heels are on a four-game-win streak and are looking to add another win vs. Boston College. It was another great performance for Omarion Hampton to help lead the Tar Heels to a victory last week vs Wake Forest. Hampton had 244 rushing yards and a touchdown in the final minutes. I expect Hampton to run for over 100 yards again and surpass his career-high of 1,504 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Boston College is coming off a 10-point loss to number 13 SMU. Boston College has been very good at Alumni Stadium this year with a 4-1 record. It'll be a big road test for the Tar Heels, but I predict a close victory, and North Carolina moves to 7-4.
Prediction: North Carolina 24, Boston College 21
Record: 9-1

The Tar Heels are traveling to Boston with a three-game win streak and Bowl eligibility. The Eagles sit just one win away from the magic number of six, and they're also coming off a hard-fought win. Expect Omarion Hampton to continue doing Omarion Hampton things in this game, as Boston College struggles against the run. It ranks eighth in rushing defense in the ACC, allowing 130.4 yards per game. But this is the time of the year when UNC typically folds under head coach Mack Brown. UNC has not won one of its final two games of the regular season since 2021, which came against Wofford of the FCS. Going on the road and facing a tough Boston College defense will cause Jacolby Criswell problems. This should be a low-scoring affair, and based on historical precedent, the Eagles will come out on top.
Prediction: North Carolina 13, Boston College 24
Record: 1-1
