It's no secret just how close Seth Trimble and RJ Davis are both on and off the court.
As the UNC basketball program's 2024-2025 season has officially come to an end, Trimble and Davis will no longer take the court together for the Tar Heels. Shortly after North Carolina's loss to Ole Miss in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Trimble was asked about what he's learned from Davis, as the junior guard's response is heartwarming and emotional.
If you're an emotional person, you might want to grab some tissues before you proceed.

"I mean, I've learned so much from RJ. The second I stepped on campus, he was there, you know, I asked him, Hey, can we work out in the summer? I, I mean, basically asked, Hey, can I follow you?
Hey, can I do everything that you do? And I, I'm fortunate enough for him to accept me, at such an early time and just sharing with me all the knowledge that he's shared over the years. I mean, I've learned how to be a better leader. I've learned how to be a more confident basketball player.
Yeah. I mean, I've learned a whole lot from RJ. I'm real fortunate for him."
It's very evident that RJ Davis has made a major impact on Seth Trimble. The two share a very special bond that will carry on well past their playing days, as the brotherhood they built at North Carolina is something that they will be able to hold onto forever.
