Seth Trimble let it be known: the Tar Heels heard EVERYTHING Jon Rothstein had to say about them regarding their NCAA Tournament bid.
Does the saying, "A MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE!" ring a bell?
After a dominant first half of action from the UNC basketball program, Trimble was asked to do an interview with Rothstein. You could get the vibe that neither party wanted to be there, but Trimble, as he so often does, answered the questions asked and didn't throw any shade.
This clip below (which happens at the end of his interview with Trimble) shows just how mad Rothstein was given the circumstances of the game:

While Trimble did what he had to do during his halftime interview, he didn't hold back when talking to Jones Angell, the voice of the Tar Heels, in a postgame interview. Trimble let it be known that he, and his teammates, are well-aware of what was said by the CBS Sports analyst:
"We've heard the hate! Even from the guy that commentated our game tonight. We've heard it."
Trimble didn't even have to say his name. He simply referred to him as "the guy that commentated our game tonight."
CLASSIC!
The UNC basketball program's dominant performance over San Diego State was very satisfying. Still, it was even better that Rothstein was in attendance and had to work the game. You could tell it was awkward when he had to interview any Tar Heels, as they seemed to want no part of having to play nice with the clown that bashed them essentially for 48 hours straight.
Jon, we hope you know you are solely responsible for what happened in Dayton this evening. You led the charge on this brigade of hate that the UNC basketball program has received, and San Diego State was the first victim that had to face this team that now has so much to play for and so many people to prove wrong.
Please, Jon, keep hating on the Tar Heels. It seems to really fuel this group!
