It's pretty big news when a top international prospect visits the UNC Tar Heels in Chapel Hill. Not to mention when it's a part of a six-school tour of Blue Blood programs.

Sayon Keita is doing just that, visiting North Carolina alongside the Kansas Jayhawks, Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats, Duke Blue Devils, and UConn Huskies. However, the Spanish big man isn't the only person visiting the Tar Heels this summer.

UNC head coach Hubert Davis is scheduled to host four other blue chip prospects over the next two months, heading into the actual season with an extremely busy schedule of his own.

North Carolina Tar Heels 2026 basketball visits

  • Sayon Keita, unranked international center, Aug. 1
  • Deron Rippey Jr., four-star point guard, Aug. 31
  • Toni Bryant, five-star power forward, Sept. 1
  • Bryson Howard, four-star small forward, Sept. 5
  • Tajh Ariza, five-star small forward, Sept 12

Deron Rippey Jr. is scheduled to close out the month of August with his visit to UNC before he visits the Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas Longhorns, Syracuse Orange, Indiana Hoosiers, and Tennessee Volunteers. The New Jersey native is the No. 16 national prospect in the class of 2026 and will have already visited the Kentucky Wildcats and Miami Hurricanes by the time he gets to Chapel Hill.

Toni Bryant is going to be the first five-star prospect to visit the Tar Heels over the next few weeks, and he also has visits scheduled with the USF Bulls, Florida State Seminoles, NC State Wolfpack, and Missouri Tigers. He is the No. 12 nationally ranked prospect in the class.

Bryson Howard is the No. 2 prospect out of the state of Texas and the No. 28 prospect in the country. He has eight visits scheduled this summer and fall, including the Texas A&M Aggies, Texas Longhorns, Duke Blue Devils, Houston Cougars, Kentucky Wildcats, UConn Huskies, and Tennessee Volunteers.

Tajh Ariza is the No. 8 prospect in the class of 2026 and also has visits scheduled with the USC Trojans, his home-state team, and the Oregon Ducks. He is the No. 5 prospect out of California and the No. 2 small forward in the class.
