In one of the most anticipated matchups in G League Elite Camp action, former UNC basketball stars RJ Davis and Caleb Love squared off for the first time in their careers.

While the NCAA Tournament committee did everything they could to make a possible matchup happen (especially during the 2023-2024 season), this is the best we've got (for now).

Anyways, Davis got the upper-hand, helping guide Team One to a convincing victory over Love and Team Four.

After a 14-point outing in Saturday's contest, Davis followed it up nicely with another strong performance. He finished the game with 13 points to go along with five assists, as he did a great job in facilitating the basketball in an effort to find his teammates open looks.

One of the biggest stretches of the game came with just under five minutes left to play. Davis knocked down back-to-back three pointers, essentially sealing the deal for his team, securing a perfect 2-0 record for the weekend.

Love also put together a strong outing, leading Team Four in scoring with 13 points. He also added four steals, showcasing his athleticism and ability on the defensive side of the floor.

Now, the G League Elite Camp is set to come to a close, as the NBA Draft Combine will take center stage in Chicago. Some players who competed in the G League Elite Camp will be asked to stay for the upcoming combine, as the hope is that both Davis and Love are among the players asked to stick around.

Regardless, both players put a good foot forward as they competed in front of NBA league executives. Hopefully, their play has peaked the interest of at least one NBA team who will take a chance on them in this year's draft.
