Soon enough, UNC standout Caleb Wilson is going to see his NBA dreams come true. With the draft around the corner, Wilson is a lock to be a Top 5 pick, with several fanbases praying to the basketball Gods that he'll end up in their city. From our chair, it feels like Chicago is the likely landing spot for the Tar Heels star.

We'll find out soon enough, but regardless of where he ends up next, Wilson continues to make it perfectly clear that he's going to bring a humble attitude with him. The Atlanta native could easily be a cocky, insufferable kid, but leading up to one of the most important nights of his life, Wilson keeps reminding people that he's the opposite of arrogant:
"Honestly, it's still just like surreal for me," Wilson said of potentially being a Top 5 pick. "I mean, I'm excited to have this opportunity, but I feel like it really won't click until draft night when I get my name called. I kind of try not to move and be too far ahead, so that's probably when it will click for me."

UNC star Caleb Wilson is taking a perfect mindset with him to the NBA
Wilson has every right to have a big head, but that's something you're never going to have to worry about with him. Moving forward, it's that same kind of attitude that's going to make him beloved at the next level regardless of where he ends up.
Again, the Chicago Bulls are a squad that he continues to get linked to, and the storylines there would be eye-opening should this come to fruition. Obviously, there's the connection to Michael Jordan, who won six rings with the Bulls after previously playing for North Carolina and Dean Smith. We don't want to compare Wilson to MJ, but it sure would be a fun story.
Previously, Wilson said that if the Bulls select him, he'd be ready to win over the community in the same way that he did in Chapel Hill. What Wilson was able to get done during his lone season was truly remarkable, including him setting the new record for most 20-point games by a true freshman. That top honor was previously owned by Tyler Hansbrough, but even Psycho T had to be happy to see Wilson bring him down.
As great as Wilson was, the major bummer for him was that he suffered two serious injuries late in the year, including a broken thumb that ended his freshman season right before the Duke showdown. That injury cost him a shot at playing in the NCAA Tournament too, which was deflating.
Despite that, Wilson will always be loved by the UNC faithful, as everyone can't wait for him to go on and have a successful career in the NBA. He'll be ready to do so with a good head on his shoulders, playing the game with the same passion that was fully showcased while at Carolina. And even better, he'll be doing so with the humble mindset that won over so many people seeing him ball out in college.
