IT'S ABOUT DADGUM TIME!

On Tuesday evening, the Atlantic Coast Conference revealed the 2024-2025 college basketball schedules for both the men's and women's leagues. After the women kicked off the broadcast, the Nothing But Net team transitioned to the men's side, where the reigning ACC Champion UNC basketball program's schedule was revealed.

We received a bit of a tease on Monday when the ACC announced who each program will open up against. It was announced that Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels will host Georgia Tech on December 7 in Chapel Hill. While that game will be played during the middle of non-conference action, the Tar Heels will resume conference play when they travel to Louisville for a New Year's Day matchup with the Cardinals.

The 2025 calendar year opens with two consecutive road games, as the Tar Heels will travel to Notre Dame on January 7. They'll return home on January 7 to welcome SMU to the conference.

Some notable conference home games for the UNC basketball program include Pittsburgh (February 8), NC State (February 19), Virginia (February 22), Miami (March 1), and, of course, Duke at home to end the regular season on March 8. The first meeting between the Tar Heels and Blue Devils will occur on February 1 in Durham.

Fans won't have the chance to see a handful of teams in Chapel Hill this season, as the likes of Wake Forest, Syracuse, Clemson, Florida State and Virginia Tech will host the Tar Heels.

The good news for the UNC basketball program is that four of their final six games of the regular season will be held at the Dean Smith Center. It will be the perfect transition toward postseason basketball for the Tar Heels.

Now, we have the schedule... get your countdowns to opening tip-off ready to go!
