The college basketball season is right around the corner, as the annual ACC Tipoff event is scheduled to take place from October 8-10.

Each men's and women's team will have the opportunity to meet with the media to discuss the upcoming season. Typically, teams bring the head coach along side two (or sometimes three) players who are among the team's key contributors.

This year, the UNC basketball program announced who will represent the Tar Heels in Charlotte on the morning of October 10.

Guards RJ Davis and Seth Trimble have been named the player representatives for the 2024 ACC Tipoff event.

Davis is no stranger to this event, as this will be the third time that the All-American guard will be attendance. He attended during his junior season (alongside Caleb Love and Armando Bacot) and returned last season with Bacot to discuss the 2023-2024 campaign.

Trimble is a first-time participant for this event, as it shows how big of a factor he's expected to be for this year's squad. An elite-level defender, Trimble is one of the key returners from last year's team that won the ACC regular season title.

With the start of the 2024-2025 regular season just around the corner, it will be interesting to hear what the trio of Tar Heels have to say as they prepare for the journey they are set to embark on starting officially on November 4 in Chapel Hill.
