We already know that Chapel Hill, North Carolina is among the elite college towns in America, but just how high does Blue Heaven rank on the list?

Andy Katz revealed his top 10 college towns, which obviously include North Carolina. Chapel Hill came in at No. 4 on the list, as it is the only ACC college community represented among the top 10.

Katz ranked Madison, Wisconsin as the top college town in the country, followed by Austin, Texas (home of the Texas Longhorns) and Boulder, Colorado (home of the Colorado Buffaloes). Others on the list that rank below Chapel Hill include Tuscaloosa (Alabama), Lawrence (Kansas), Gainesville (Florida), Georgia (Athens), Ann Arbor (Michigan), and Westwood (UCLA).

Now, we're certainly bias, but Chapel Hill is a little to low on this list!

Sure, we shouldn't complain, given that Chapel Hill is among the top 10 in the country. However, not many college towns can compete with what North Carolina has to offer, as it certainly serves as a "bucket list" type of area to visit at least once if you're (or even if you're not) a fan of college athletics.

While we're thrilled that Chapel Hill is getting the respect it deserves, we still think that not many (if any) college towns can compete with what the North Carolina Tar Heels have to offer.
