Well... that didn't take long!!!!!

After tying the UNC baseball program's all-time home run record with a leadoff home run in the first inning, Vance Honeycutt secured the record for his own in his very next at-bat.

The record-breaking home run was an absolute missile off the bat, as Honeycutt smoked a 115 MPH line drive off the netting just over the left field wall.

Honeycutt now passes Devy Bell on the all-time home run list as he resets a record that Bell held for 37 years. This alone shows just how difficult it is to set a record like this, especially at a program that has featured plenty of talented players in its illustrious history.

He now has six career multi-homer games, as he's just one away from tying another record. If he's able to put together another multi-homer contest, Honeycutt will tie Chris Maples for the most in program lure.

This is another friendly reminder that Vance Honeycutt is an elite baseball player, as it's safe to say that he will go down as one of the best to ever wear the Carolina Blue uniform.
