UNC Women's Basketball star throws out first pitch at UNC baseball game
Alyssa Ustby is a woman of many talents.
We've learned of all the skills that the Rochester, Minnesota has during her time with the UNC women's basketball program, as she once was a three-sport star athlete at the high school level.
In fact, Ustby was recruited by multiple schools to play both basketball and softball at the collegiate level.
Ustby stuck to basketball (a decision that has certainly paid off for her to say the least), but that doesn't mean she's lost her touch in other sports.
On Tuesday, Ustby got to show off her throwing skills, as she threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the UNC baseball program's contest against Gardner-Webb.
R.L. Bynum of the Tar Heel Tribune provided video footage of the first pitch, which you can see for yourself in the video below:
Of course, Ustby has an additional season of college eligibility to work with, and the belief is that she will, in fact, return to the UNC women's basketball program. Although she hasn't officially announced a decision, her return would be huge for the Tar Heels heading into next season.
At this point, it's not a matter of what Alyssa Ustby can do. Is there anything this student-athlete can't do?!
We think it's safe to say that she's essentially good at everything.
