With one five-star player already committed to the UNC women's basketball program's 2025 recruiting class, the Tar Heels are looking to add another five-star talent to the mix.

On Friday, five-star guard Jordan Speiser announced on social media that she received an offer from North Carolina. The 6-foot-1 standout from Warrenton, Missouri currently ranks as the No. 20 overall prospect in the Class of 2025 (according to HoopGurlz).

The UNC women's basketball program has had a ton of success on the recruiting trial during the Courtney Banghart era, as the Class of 2023 was regarded as one of the top recruitng classes in the entire country. North Carolina also has a few high-profile commitments among the class of 2024, and would love to add more talent with the following graduating class.

If Speiser ultimately commits to North Carolina, she would give the Tar Heels two top-25 prospects within the Class of 2025. Lanie Grant, who is likely to move up the rankings after her very strong start to her junior season, currently sits at No. 22 overall in the class, as the two could form the future backcourt duo for the UNC women's basketball program.

Recruiting for the Class of 2025 should begin to heat up soon, as the UNC women's basketball program should be very much in the mix for some more top talents within this class.
