Agot Makeer has firmly solidified herself as one of the top overall players in the Class of 2025.

A 6-foot-1 wing from Ontario, Canada, Makeer is regarded as the No. 6 overall player in her graduating class (according to ESPN HoopGurlz). 247Sports ranks her even higher, as she currently holds the No. 4 overall player in their Class of 2025 rankings.

Needless to say, plenty of programs have recruited her throughout the process, but only 12 teams remain in the mix.

Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program are one of those teams, as they join the likes of Michigan State, UCLA, UCONN, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Michigan, Duke, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Louisville and Vanderbilt on this respective top 12 list.

Sure, there's still plenty of work to do in this recruitment, but give the Tar Heels credit for being in the mix up until this point. Banghart and the program have seemed to impress this top-10 talent, as they are squarely in the mix with other top-tier caliber programs.

Banghart has done an excellent job on the recruiting trail since she arrived in Chapel Hill, and the program hopes that success continues. With no current players committed to the Class of 2025 (remember, Lanie Grant reclassified to this year's class), expect the Tar Heels to add some high school talent from this upcoming graduating class over the next few months.
