Things are heating up in Nyla Brooks' recruitment!

The five-star wing from the Class of 2025 is down to four schools in her recruitment, as Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program have earned a spot among the finalists.

Brooks, a 6-foot-1 standout from Alexandria, Virginia, is focusing her recruitment on the following programs:

Georgia
Maryland
North Carolina
Tennessee

Currently, ESPN HoopGurlz tabs Brooks as the No. 14 overall ranked player in the Class of 2025. It's hard not to be impressed by what she's capable of doing on a basketball court, as she does a little bit of everything to help her team win games.

Not only is she a player who can score on all three levels but she is also a fierce competitor on the defensive side of the floor. She's an above-average rebounder as well, as she uses her height to her advantage while hauling in rebounds for her team.

It's easy to see why Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program are so heavily invested in her recruitment, as she's a player who should have no problem making an immediate impact for whichever program she chooses to play her college career for.

The UNC women's basketball program has done well on the recruiting trail during the Courtney Banghart era, as they've been heavily considered (and chosen by some) of the top players in the country over that span.

As the Tar Heels look to continue working toward the goal of being legitimate national championship contenders on a yearly basis, bringing in a player with Brooks' talent would certainly be a major step in the right direction.
