Over the past two weeks, Deja Kelly has been playing at the elite level that made her a household name with the UNC women's basketball program.

Following two big wins over Georgia Tech and previously ranked No. 13 Louisville, Kelly was one of five players to earn USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Players of the Week honors.

As part of the five-player team, the UNC women's basketball program's star guard was joined by Marshall's Abby Beeman, UConn's Paige Bueckers, Syracuse's Dyaisha Fair and Ohio State's Cotie McMahon as this week's recipients.

Kelly has been an absolute workhorse for North Carolina, playing all 40 minutes in each of the last two games. Her production hasn't faltered one bit, as she averaged 25 points over the two games the Tar Heels played this week.

In the win over Georgia Tech, Kelly scored 27 points while also adding five rebounds and four assists to her stat line. She followed it up with a 23-point, six assist performance against Louisville, helping the UNC women's basketball program pick up yet another top 25 victory.

Not many (if any) players have been better than Deja Kelly over the last two weeks, as the senior guard is getting into a groove for the Tar Heels. A big part of her recent success has been due to her ability to knock down free throws, as she's connected on 24 of 28 attempts over the last two games alone.

Now in first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the UNC women's basketball program is hoping to maintain that spot for good, as Kelly's success as this team's leader will go a long way in determining how far this team can go.

Based on what we've seen from "The Queen," expect more star-studded performances from her over the next few weeks.
