The UNC women's basketball program announced that they have named Shellie Greenman as the new Director of Basketball Operations.

Greenman comes to Chapel Hill with plenty of experience, as she'll replace Jessika Carrington (who elected to leave North Carolina to pursue other opportunities). Here's a look at Greenman's prior coaching experience:

-Clemson: Director of Operations
-North Florida: Director of Operations
-Florida: Program Assistant (recruiting, planning, scouting)
-Jacksonville: Assistant Coach (perimeter players)
-Virginia Tech: Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator
-Western Carolina: Associate Head Coach
-Miami (OH): Assistant Coach
-Tennessee-Chattanooga: Assistant Coach
-Tennessee Tech: Assistant Coach

The Tar Heels coaching staff will look a bit different than it did a season ago, but Courtney Banghart continues to bring in staff members with a wide range of experience and wisdom. Greenman has succeeded in various roles throughout her coaching career, as her addition to the staff should be beneficial for the UNC women's basketball program moving forward.
