We've heard a lot about the recruiting success of the UNC women's basketball program. In fact, the Tar Heels are the only team in the country that currently has two five-star talents committed from the Class of 2025.

While two elite talents are great to have, Courtney Banghart and the Tar Heels are far from finished.

North Carolina was named a finalist for top-50 prospect Lauren Hurst. The 6-foot-3 power forward is also still considering Tennessee, NC State, Clemson and Virginia Tech as her recruitment moves closer to the finish line.

A Tennessee native, Hurst is currently viewed as the No. 41 overall player in the Class of 2025 (according to ESPN HoopGurlz). While the Volunteers may have an edge as the hometown team, it's interesting to see that four ACC schools make up the remaining list of finalists in this particular recruitment.

The Tar Heels have been heavily involved with multiple top-tier talents who are still available from the Class of 2025, as it is likely that this recruiting class will feature at least one more player before its all said and done. With what Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program are building, it appears that top recruits are taking notice and want to be a part of it in the future.
