UNC Football: Michael Carter makes a Madden-Like juke move!
The Arizona Cardinals pulled off the biggest upset in the NFL on New Year's Eve, as they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
As impressive as the victory was, what former UNC football standout Michael Carter did was even more impressive!
If you've ever played a Madden video game, you'd understand how players can perform juke moves that make their defenders look silly. Well, Carter made a real-life Madden move, as the above juke move went viral shortly after the play even happened.
The former Tar Heel was very productive in the win, recording 61 rushing yards on seven carries while also adding a receiving touchdown. His score capped off a 10-play, 75-yard drive to start the second half, as it was the start of the Cardinals erasing a 15-point halftime deficit to ultimately win the game.
Carter has had his fair share of struggles this season, as he was released by the New York Jets before landing in Arizona. However, it's great to see the former UNC football star getting an opportunity to showcase his talent, as this highlight-reel juke is one that he'll simply remember forever.
Arizona will play one more regular season game against the Seattle Seahawks on January 7. Who knows, maybe Carter has some more impressive juke moves in his bag before his team closes out the 2023 season!
