After being selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, former UNC football star Drake Maye got his first day of practice at the professional level in on Friday.
As expected, all eyes were on the former Tar Heel, as there's very high expectations for what he can do as the future franchise quarterback in New England. Sure, we all love seeing Maye in the Carolina blue, but, he doesn't look too shabby in the Patriots' red, white and blue colors.
Here's your first look at Drake Maye in a Patriots' practice uniform.

While working with the other rookie participants, Maye got the opportunity to throw to some of his future wide receivers, including second round pick Ja'Lynn Polk.

Now that his first practice in the NFL is complete, the hope is that there are many more practice days ahead in what both Tar Heel and Patriot fans hope is a long, successful career in Foxboro.
