As he did so many times during his time with the UNC football program, Drake Maye is back to leading touchdown scoring drives.

The former Tar Heel found the end zone for the first time in his NFL career (in preseason action, of course), as he didn't need his arm to cap off this particular drive.

With two minutes left in the first half of play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, Maye found some open space to score on a four-yard rush.

In case you missed it, here's the highlight:

As impressive as Maye's arm talent is, don't forget that this dude can run! He did score 16 rushing touchdowns during his UNC football career, as we all know how tough he is, especially as he tries to hurdle over defenders or simply plow through them.

After playing just one series in the Patriots' preseason opener, Maye, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, had the opportunity to see more field time in the team's second contest. He definitely proved what he's capable of, as he showcased overall skillset as he orchestrated a touchdown scoring drive.

Now, the hope is that many, many more NFL touchdown scoring drives are in his future.
