September 4 is a big day in the college basketball recruiting world.

On this date, the fall recruiting period kicks off, allowing coaches to check in with some of their program's top targets.

The UNC basketball program's coaching staff was out and about (which was expected!). With the Tar Heels coaches making trips across the country, where did Brad Frederick make his first stop?

The answer: Indiana.

Frederick was one of a handful of coaches to visit Greenfield-Central High School, the home of four-star shooting guard Braylon Mullins. Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan, and Indiana were among the other programs that checked in on the 6-foot-5 sharpshooter.

Mullins is an intriguing prospect, considering his ability to not only shoot the basketball at an elite level (especially from three-point range), but what he's capable of doing as a defender. The UNC basketball program seems to be very intrigued by the possibility of him becoming a Tar Heel, given how much attention they've shown him over the past couple of months.

On September 13, Mullins is scheduled to make an official visit to Chapel Hill. He is one of a handful of Class of 2025 prospects slated to make stops to North Carolina during the month of September.

The recruiting trail is heating up for members of the Class of 2025. Mullins is one of the prospects that is being heavily sought-after by various programs, which is evident by how many coaches showed up to visit him on Wednesday at his high school.
