Some will say that Cade Tyson, a transfer from Belmont, factors in better at the "three," but Tyson has a skillset that we haven't seen in Carolina Blue since Brady Manek helped guide the program to the national title game in 2022.

Tyson was one of the best shooters in the country a season ago, and has the makings of being a perfect "stretch four" for this year's team. Given how heavily recruited he was in the transfer portal, it seems like a longshot to see him come off the bench, especially given his ability to score from anywhere on the court.

Just because he starts at the "four" doesn't mean he won't see time at the wing, as Hubert Davis will be able to mix and match. However, expect to see Tyson in that "stretch four" spot, similiar to the role that Harrison Ingram fulfilled last season, as Tyson's ability to knock down shots will be vital for this Tar Heels team.
