The start of the 2024-2025 college basketball season is still months away, but it's never too early to look at who the UNC basketball program will compete against!

Another piece of information regarding the Tar Heels' non-conference schedule has been announced, as Jon Rothstein provided the matchups for this year's Jumpman Invitational.

North Carolina will take on Florida while Michigan will battle Oklahoma in this year's event. As it has been for each of the past two seasons, the Jumpman Invitational will be held at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In the 2023 Jumpman Invitational, the UNC basketball program defeated Oklahoma by a score of 81-69. The Tar Heels had four players score in double-figures, as RJ Davis led all scorers with 23 points in the win.

The UNC basketball program has had success in each of the first two Jumpman Invitational events, as the Tar Heels head into this season's contest with a 2-0 record. Prior to defeating Oklahoma in 2023, the Tar Heels knocked off Michigan in the first ever Jumpman Invitational event back in 2022.

Like we said earlier, we're still a long ways away from the start of the 2024-2025. Heck, college programs across the country are still working to put together their respective rosters!

However, it's never too early to start thinking about the upcoming UNC basketball season, as the bout with the Florida Gators will provide the Tar Heels with yet another solid non-conference matchup.
