It's no secret that Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program are aiming to add multiple guards from the Class of 2025.

As the Tar Heels search for some guards to join their roster, they are keeping an open mind on the recruiting trail. Their scouting has led them to extend an offer to in-state product Isaiah Denis.

Denis, a four-star recruit from the Class of 2025, announced his offer from the UNC basketball program on social media. The 6-foot-5, 165-pound combo guard from Davidson, North Carolina currently ranks on 247Sports' recruiting board as the No. 42 overall player in the Class of 2025 and the second-highest ranked player from the state of North Carolina.

Of the players in the Class of 2025, not many can say that their ranking has skyrocketed as much as Denis' has over the last few months. Once regarded as a product who was not within the top 100 of his class, Denis has climbed over 100 spots to secure a spot among the top 50 players that this talented class has to offer.

Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels coaching staff got a chance to watch Denis at the recent Peach Jam event, as the rising senior averaged 16.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. His jump shot was also impressive, as he connected on 37.2% of his shots from three-point range.

The Tar Heels aren't alone in this recruiting battle, as a handful of ACC programs, such as Clemson, Florida State, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest have already extended scholarship offers his way. Ultimately, the UNC basketball program hopes that Denis elects to stay in-state and play out his college basketball career close to home in Chapel Hill.
