UNC Basketball places three on All-ACC teams for 2023-2024 season

The UNC basketball program was well-represented when the Atlantic Coast Conference announced its yearly honors for the 2023-2024 season.

Not only was RJ Davis named the ACC Player of the Year, but Hubert Davis was tabbed as the ACC Coach of the Year as well. To add to that, various Tar Heels earned recognition, as three UNC basketball standouts were named to the All-ACC teams.

To no surprise, RJ Davis was a first-team All-ACC selection, as the conference's player of the year clearly belongs among this group. Davis led the ACC in scoring and played a huge role in guiding the UNC basketball program to a ACC regular season title.

Armando Bacot fell just short of once again being a first-team selection, but found himself as a second-team All-ACC selection. Although his numbers took a bit of a dip this season, Bacot was still a dominant force, as he still found a way to average a double-double for the third consecutive season.

Harrison Ingram earned a spot on the third-team All-ACC squad, as he has been a huge addition to the UNC basketball program this season. The former Stanford forward quickly found a home in Chapel Hill, as his play, especially against conference foes, played a huge role in the Tar Heels' success.

All three players were vitally important to the UNC basketball program's success this season, especially in regard to capturing the ACC regular season title.
