The NBA Draft withdrawl date has passed, as former UNC basketball standout Harrison Ingram was not among the 93 players to take his name out consideration.

This was the expected outcome, as Ingram has stated he was all-in on the draft process. Although Tar Heel fans would've loved to have seen the versatile forward return to Chapel Hill, Ingram and his team have determined that now is the time for him to kick off his professional career.

Just a day after the NBA Draft early entry withdrawl deadline, Ingram was spotted working out for a Western Conference team. That team is noneother than the Portland Trailblazers, a team that holds four picks in this year's draft (including two first round selections).

After the workout, the former Tar Heel spoke to the media, as he cited his adaptability as a reason why an NBA team should take a chance on him.

You can hear everything Harrison Ingram had to say during his media availability in the video below:

Ingram essentially took on a brand-new role when he arrived in Chapel Hill, as the UNC basketball program asked him to adapt to be more of a "stretch four" within their system. He was able to adapt nicely, as he put together his best overall season at the college ranks.

As he states during his media availability, making the transition from Stanford to North Carolina helped prepare him for the NBA, as it proved he can be successful in whatever role he is asked to fulfill. In his lone season as a Tar Heel, Ingram consistently showed that he can impact a game in a variety of ways, as he was willing and able to do whatever the team needed in order to rack up victories.

Portland is just one stop on Ingram's pre-NBA Draft tour, as he'll likely workout for other teams throughout the remainder of the process.

One thing's for sure: whoever drafts Harrison Ingram is going to reap the benefits.
